How do i fix my gearbox, ford, mondeo?

Thirth gear in my 1998 diesel ford mondeo grinds when selected, the other gears are ok, but can become stiff some times. Thanks

It will be cheaper and faster getting a second hand box to replace ur old one as the cost to repair ur old one can be up to £200-£400 if u want a good job done

sounds like u need a new third gear syncro .the box will have to be stripped to replace it.
