Honda Dylan Problem when cold?

engines never run great when they are cold and not up to operating temp so that is why it may need the tickover speeding up to get it to idle when its cold dont go to mad just enough to stop it fromm cutting out ,if you turn it up to much it will make it struggle to start as it gives the engine too much air from cold and they need a rich fuel mix not a weak one.hope that helps mate.good luck

i'll do that mate. didn't think it was the tick over cause once it's warmed up it idles nicely.

i would say the tickover speed just needs knocking up a bit its easy to do just turn the tickover screw in a bit until it idles nicely,if the choke didnt work it wouldnt start in the cold full stop.
