how can i fix my potterton performer 24?

run a hot water tap slow, if it eventually gets hot then its sludge, if it doesnt get hot and you need a really good flow of water through the tap before it even gets just a little warm then its the hot water flow switch diaphram. isolate the water and take off the four screws and remove it, if it has even a small hole in it (apart from the one in the middle) it wont work. thanx mr k when the boiler fires up when the hot tap is turned on the boiler fires up on full flame for about 3 seconds then goes of for about 5 seconds .it does this sequence 3 times then goes of for about 45 seconds then it repeats itself so it is not heating enough water could it be the thermostat sensor?

when hot tap is turn on does boiler fires and go slow and off than sludge in DHW exchanger
If boiler stayes on full burner and heating flow pipe getting hot than diverter valve leaking to heat to heating pipes so warm water in hot tap, you will need expert opnion
