washing machine keeps triping my fuse box?

hi my boshwff 2001 trips my fuse box as soon as the water enters. if i leave it overnight then the machine will run for a couple of minutes then will trip my fuse box, thereafter as soon as i swith the machine on it trips straight away. i can not see a leak but i guess this is the problem but i am not sure an dont no were to start looking, please help.

heater element is S/C (short/circuiting) through the path of water to EARTH
test by disconnecting the connections to the heater don't allow the connections to touch metal, turn on the power and see if power stays in without tripping if yes replace the heater element.
