Could be plug and or plug lead.
We had vans that did the same thing played up no end when warm the effing things wouldn't always start until cooled down. Mechanic checked the plug leads [new carbon centre type] found the wire insert picking up the current was burnt. Changed back to copper wired leads with the brass pickup disc in the distributor and had no problems after that.
I have e-mailed Stihl to see what they say. Will post their answer Meanwhile here's the details of Stihl incase you haven't got them.
