Mend C023 203 Alarm System Panel

C023 203 - Alarm keeps beeping and saying 'record please' ?

The power went out in my house and ever since the alarm system panel in my attic which is programmed to call numbers when the alarm goes off keeps beeping every 1min or so and saying 'please record'. I dont have the manual as the alarm was already there when i moved in, any ideas on how to stop it
