Mend Alarm System Flashing

Why is my alarm system box attached to wall not flashing anymore ?

My house alarm sytem box attached to front of the house usually flashs every few seconds. But recently it has stopped flashing ? why ? Is it a seroius fault ? The alarm is still working as per normal. Is it worth getting fixed ?

sounds if your bell box needs replacing could be a fault on the back up battery in the bell box or just the l.e.d on the box thats faulty should not cost that much to fix
