Hotpoint wd860 Does anyone know why it would be making load abnormal sound?

My washer dryer is just 2 years old, i have hardly used the dryer maybe 8 times. I put it on to dry a load and it made this load noise so i quickly turned it off as its definately not ok... I don't know quite how to explain it, its a bit like a continous loud buzz or vibration but not high pitched. Sorry i know i am not giving you much to try and help me with! I canceled the program and thought i would empty machine and try an empty wash, seemed ok but only ran it for 5mins. Just put a load in to wash and it got to the rinse cycle and it did the noise again so cancel prog and re set it to a rinse and spin and so far its still going! I don't wish to call an enigineer out again as its beyond a joke i also have a dishwasher and fridge freezer all the same age an i have had the engineer out for various faults at least 8 times and my dishwasher still does not wash properly, and i thought hotpoint were surposed to be good!!
Would appreciate it if anyone can offer advice, thank you in anticipation :0)
