The Halogen 'Fastlite' cooking area on my Belling 631 does not cut out at all, whatever level it is put at. Is it the switch/simmerstat that needs replacing or the heating element itself. I've inherited this cooker. I have replaced simmerstats several times on my previous cooker that I had for 20 years
