Mend Zanussi Aquacycle 800 Slow 10 Problem

zannussi aquacycle slow drum speed?

hi,i have a zannussi aquacycle 800,we had it about 10 years,the problem is the drum sometimes wont move at all but somtimes it will but not at full speed so the clothes wet through at the end..thankyou

take the lid off and mounted to the bar across the middle is a capacitor (tubular silver thing with wires attached to one end).these make the motor start up and when weak will not allow the motor to start to spin with heavier loads.put a new one on should solve your problem
