where is the thermostat on a citroen relay 2.5 diesel engine?

hi pep i hope you got small hands its a pig of a job.you need to take starter motor off and bracket holding it .
then you can see 2 ten mill bolts but the top one needs air intake hoses off and you can see top bolt near engine block and thats a pain to find something to fit in the space ,but also before start check temp sensors one on front of block near stat and one on top
as a thought it was a stat,but i have suspension it electrical as i got massive temp rise even on a short trip top hose warm and bottom cold but to be on safe side removed stat to save engine and flushed out looking to buy rheostats at the weekend hope ive been a help
