I recently replaced the brake light in my car (bought the bulb from Halfords as per their guides). Since then their seems to be an issue with my lights in general. When my headlights are on at night my brake lights are constantly on and when I do brake they only get slightly brighter. However when the headlights are not on and I hit the brake all the interior lights illuminate??? Is there an easy solution to this??

I have a 08 Fiesta and have breaks but the break lights arent working and the bulbs are fine. One person thought it could be the sensor under the pedal.
Any ideas?

are you sure that you have the correct bulb fitted -it sounds like you have a single filament/double contact bulb [21w]where a double filament/double contact bulb [5/21w] should be!
