ideal classic lxff & ff fanned flue gas boiler (FF240) Bolier size?

Could be a motorised valve that has failed.Leave the boiler on heating then see if you can find a motorised valve.There is a lever on the side which should show no resistance if it is working correctly.If you push it and it gives resistance you should be able to manually lock it in position which should make the boiler light and the rads will heat up.If this works a new synchron motor will be needed.

Sounds like your pump isn't running, if its a gravity system pump only runs for heating.
