where to get parts ?

you need to either remove the back cover and find out the actual producer of the tv lg samsung there will either a sticker on the screen saying pdp42v**** for lg the v and the first number being the version number (eg pdp42v7*** ignore the last 3 digits) samsung write this number on the curcuit boards (eg samsung 42 sd v4.0 ) do a google for chs they do a range of tv parts they can be expensive but they han no problem sending parts to me (i am not a repair shop most suppliers only deal with trade or account hlders hope this helps p.s hope this is the v7 as a kit to repare this tv is around £90 other models can run expensive
