Blank screen?

my advent 7201 model no: AL-096 has a blank screen at power up I'm not even getting the logo at start up the fan just spins continuously and it don't even gives a beep when it comes on please help me?

Motherboard u/s, sourcing one of these for a laptop is a minefield, normally i deal with the desktop versions only. My suggestion would be to buy a secondhand working machine identical to the one you have and swap the motherboard across.
