If your washer keeps on agitating into the spin cycle instead of pausing and then going into the spin cycle it's possible your timer is bad by not pausing and letting motor shift into spin cycle. Try lifting the lid and then putting it down while it's agitating in the spin mode to see if it starts to spin.
