iveco daily will not start?

hi, i have a 2000 modle iveco daily pick up, i was putting another radio in when smoke apeared from the wireing loom near the fuse box, i quickly took the radio out, but it did melt some of the wires, i managed to seperate the wires, and now everything works , lights wipers, heater, ect, ect, it also turns over on the key, all dash lights work, but it just wont start, all fuses ok in the fuse box, any help much apreciated, thanks for your help.
