dual flush outlet valve arcadia?

fitted two of these outlet valves now operated by push button in the lid first one worked fine for few weeks then just stopped flushing seems like the other end of the cable which goes into the valve as parted company cant get at it thou its a sealed unit just interested to know if anybodys had same problems
