how do you fix the feed dogs on a brother pc-6000 so that they will raise again, does not work with the dail (switch)

I have a singer model 513 yes I know its old , but just had it in the shop last year and now the dog feed is not working. i did reset the pressure dial, but it did not help... what do i need to do next?
