how can i disconnect alarm hyundai coupe 2.7v6 2003?

Left off work this morning fob wouldnt open car had to drive home once i started car up with alarm blasting away had the fob checked its ok phoned hyundai dealer said it would cost £300-£400 to be fixed any advice please asap.
