how can i open my drivers door on skoda fabia?

went to open my skoda fabia 1.9 sdi 2000 model on saturday and the key barrel was broken when key is in it just turns and nothing happens, i can open the passanger side and get in. But i still can't open drivers side from inside? so i can't take panel off and check lock as i can't open the door in any way. Is there any other way of doing this? Thank you
