Astra G Windscreen Wipers?

Hello

My windscreen wipers on intermittent setting have started stopping half way. I have also found that on other settings that the wipers do not reset to the bottom of the windscreen.

I thought that it may be the relay that needs replacing, but I have seen another post on this board suggesting it is a contact in the motor.

As I am having the issue that it is not resetting when full wipers are stopped I wonder if it is the motor connectors.

Any ideas, I want to be sure before I do anything as all avenues look expensive :)
