Mend Dyson Brush Remove

changing belt on my dyson?

I can remove the brush and slip the belt off this end
but how do I get at the other end. I suspect it has come off since it does not turn.

Most Dyson models require special tools to properly remove and set the belt. On the models with the clutch (carpet/floor selector), the black belt cover has to be taken out to access the second belt. This is the belt that usually breaks.
