Mend Chrysler LHS Wrong Started Loud

what is wrong with my car?

I have a 1999 Crysler LHS. I started the car and heard a loud hum coming from the engine compartment. I thought it might be a bearing. Sounded like it might be coming from the serpintine belt. I travelled about 200 kilometers with that loud hum. Do you have any suggestion what it might be?
