Mend 5000 PVR Enter Code Suggestions

Still cant enter codes in 5000 PVR?

I still cant get the access to the page to enter codes tried changing batteries in remote but still cant get code page any more suggestions please!

sure its worth flashing , its free to flash it anyway , go to system infomation, ok it< see what date is on the S/w firmwear there , it should be 2008 or around that date , i have flash them before , the one you have max v, and it updated itself for one year. mick

thanks mick i have just been looking on that site and it seems a few people have the same problem and they think it is a problem on new boxes do you think it is worth flashing?

hi 4dad , still no luck with the box" i have being trying different ways to get into the code box here, and the only2 ways that i can find in to the box ,is (language setttings) ok it and type 1968 twice", or menu yellow button, i cant find any other way in , mick
