depends on how many loads you do, how many times a day
2 versions of (MOTOR BRUSHES)
1) soft carbon version 6 /12 months
2) LAMINATED VERSION 24/+ months
version 1) usually BLACK or BLUE brush holder.
version 2) are WHITE these are HARDER due to the plastic strip embedded in the middle of the brush these last longer but cause wear to the commutator,this will want skimming to remove the groove after a couple of sets of brushes
not much difference in the PRICE
