Mend Ford Fiesta Coming

ford fiesta 2002 - losing water?

i noticed steam coming from engine and checked water/coolant and was empty. filled it up and checked back a few hours later and re topped up. drove the car 20 miles approx and re checked water level and is now down to minimum. car was only MOT'd jan 10th and had new steering rack fitted.
what could be the cause/s??

Ford Ford Fiesta Vehicles, Cars Ford Fiesta Coming

MOT and steering rack would not affect cooling system, unless a hose was damaged when they removed the rack. If it isn't a damaged/leaking hose then probably faulty water pump or thermostat stuck closed. Don't continue to drive it like it else you'll blow your head gasket and/or seize your engine.
