Mend Rowenta IS8100 Steam Power Light

Rowenta IS8100 won,t steam?

I have a Rowenta IS8100 about a year old, water is full, hose is attached, power light comes on but no steam comes out . I went on line I search of a solution and found many people with this unit have the same issue and no answer.

I'm experiencing the same issue, too & Rowenta's customer service is terrible. Not only does the "Contact Us" section of their website not work, but the phone number just leaves you on hold, and then disconnects.

Did you ever find a solution? Sounds like a heating element issue to me, but can't find anyone to verify that.
