I imagine you've got your car fixed by now, but if not, I recommend thesaabsite.com, I've just done my 1997 900 which is almost the same thing, with some great help from this site. Just look for beltsandpulleys & you'll get part No's diagrams & explanations. The jobs a doddle really. Be sure to check the top left idler pulley & bearing, & all the bearings for that matter. You'll need a half inch socket extension to lever back the self adjusting tensioner, [there's a hole in the top] & a drill or allen key to hold it there [there's a hole in the front] while you fit the belt, ease it back gently when you're ready. Make sure the belt is sitting correctly in it's grooves. Good luck & mind your fingers,....Steve.
