Can I fix Russell Hobbs 13715 Steam glide Iron?

Everytime I try to use my Steam glide iron it blows all the fuses in the house. The iron has worked perfectly until now. The problem has developed over the last couple of days. I used the iron and there was a pool of water underneath it when i had finished and the problem has occurred since then. Is it beyond repair?
