Hi Mike just one of three things i can think of firstly check both wheels is not rubbing on anything eg mudflap or plastic splash guard trim etc secondly if your transit is a front wheel drive it could be the cv joint and thirdly it could be a wheel bearing and if it is get it changed asap as there is a danger of the wheel eventually falling off if it gets very worn
