how do i stop my noisey toilet?

Why not purchase a Torbeck valve which is quieter and a water saving? Heres a bottom entry one from a really good cheap company on ebay:

Sounds like faulty siphon washer if its noisy emptying
and float valve washer if noisy whenfilling
