how do i change the front spring on my mondeo?

its not a simple job as you will need a few tools. first jack up car,remove wheel,remove drive shaft nut found in middle of brake disc,undo bottom ball joint nut and release using ball joint releasing tool, repeat procedure with track rod end ball joint. now remove brake calliper and pull the shock absorber and hub towards you so the drive shaft comes out of the hub. now under the bonnet you will find 3 nuts which attach the shock absorber to the inner wing. undo thes and the shock and hub should fall free. you will now need a set of spring compressors,compress the spring and remove top nut be carefull because if the compressors come off or release the spring will shoot out and hit anything in its path very hard. re assembly is the same as un assembly just in reverse
