Mend Goodmans LD2245WD Find Power Lead

MY GOODMANS LD2245WD TV WONT TURN ON WHAT CAN I do?

was given this tv as a present but cant find warranty info. The tv will not turn on and the power lead supply indicates that it is on as normal (ie not just a fuse problem)
