Mend AEG 5060 Dishwasher Repair Control Panel

AEG Dishwasher 5060 buttons stuck?

I have a AEG Favorite 5060 dishwasher. My kids were playing with the control buttons on the front panel and they have managed to push all the buttons in and now they can't come out as they should one at a time.
How can this be repaired?

AEG AEG 5060 Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Dishwasher Repair Control Panel

Open up the back plate and take out the control panel. On the back of the panel you will see red sliding switches that move back and forth when the buttons are depressed. There is one hole with no button or sliding switch. Put a small srewdriver in the hole and move it back and forth until you move a white plastic lever and then all the buttons will pop up and be reset.
