TO SWITCH SYSTEM OFF?

CAN SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO SWITCH MY ACCENTA COMPACT G3 SYSTEM OFF, AS I HAVE A ELECTRICAL FAULT IN MY HOUSE AND WHEN I TURN THE POWER OFF THE ALARM SOUNDS.
