We have a 'tree mesh' set of lights that adorn a magnolia tree in our front garden for the Christmas period. It has 5 feed wires from the transformer through a hole drilled in our porch wall. All was working well until our local fox decided to vandalise the wires and chew through them 2 days before Christmas! So we now have 5 wires to reconnect to five others. We are doing our best to conquer all 25 of the obvious combinations - but not finding it very easy! Has any one any bright ideas (excuse the pun) on how to fix them with just a 'chocolate box' and a load of patience!! With the language so far and the frustration - I'm in favour of buying a new set, but himself wants to persevere.
The net has 8 combinations of light settings when we get it going.
