Video card replacement?

oh err umm, it might well be on its way out, if you only do internet and office work a cheap one off ebay would be ideal

Hey Danny thats for the responce but its not the mouse tail its a line that forms as I scroll down the screen .....

That does not sound like a video card problem unless the whole screen is doing it, make sure you mouse pointer trails are turned on by clicking,

Start>Control Panel>Printers and other hardware>Mouse.

A small window should appear, click the 3rd tab at the top (Pointer options), near the bottom should be a bit called Visibility, you can turn it off from there if needed
