Mend Hotpoint WM52 Washing Machine Drum No Rotation

How can I fix washing machine WM52 hotpoint 1000?

Drum doesnt turn?, turn on machine, select programme, programmer makes noises, water fills nothing else happens, progammer continues with clicks etc and turns, water fills ,pumps out etc but drum doesnt turn, no burning or smells.. any ideas?

hi, it could be the motor brushes that need changing if you take the lid off the machine you will be able to see the motor as you look at it from the front the brushes push in one from each side remove these if the carbon is low these will need changing ,hope this helps

hotpoint 1000 every thing working but wont spin it just cuts out can you help
