unable to remove thermostatic cartridge-too tight. ?
sudden reduction in temperature of hot water. Hot water present in other showers in the house. Tried to clean thermostatic cartridge but unable to remove the cartridge-extremely tight. How do i rectify this?
My shower is a Monarch Thermostatic shower bougtht last year.

On the Triton range there is a fastening which you need an alan key to remove under the housing where your thermostatic cartridge is. After you have undone this, you should just be able to pull the cartridge out (maybe with a pair of pliers for better grip). They dont all screw out. Have a look underneith the housing.
