Mend Acer Inch Picture Minutes

How can I fix my Acer 19 inch widescreen?

It shows a picture for about 2 minutes. Then goes blank. if I turn the monitor off then turn it back on, it works for 30 seconds then cuts out.

I have seen this on other Acer monitors.The problem is usually dry joints on the power supply or leaky capacitors.
