Mend Sharp DV-SL8 Player Dvds Message

How can I fix my sharp DVD player (DV-SL8)?

My Sharp DVD player (DV-SL8) won't read CDs or DVDs and it displays a message on the LCD display saying "No Disc". How can I fix this problem? Can someone out there help me out on this?
