al10 error on Hotpoint Ultima FDW80T Dishwasher?

I had al10 code on my fdw85 I had an engineer out 3 times to repair it, and each time it worked for only a couple of weeks. it is something to do with the heat element. what i now do is make sure there is plenty of salt and only run the machine on an eco wash, which is a longer cycle, but not as hot and it seems to work. Hope this helps.
