My Creda Concept C361E cooker ?

Hi,
My Creda Concept C361E cooker ?
heats up to the right temperature then turns of as usual
but then doesn’t come on again till its almost cold then it comes on again!
but some times it works OK, would
this be the thermostat on its way out? It has just had a new Element
