The turning on in the night may be caused by a frost-stat asking the boiler to come on. If the boiler is installed in a cold palce it may have a nearby frost-stat to prevent the water in it from freezing.
The water leaking out may be due to the external drain pipe for the condensate being frozen. Get outside with a hair dryer if you think this may have happened - it was jolly cold last night.
It is possible that there's nothing wrong with your boiler - even if there is a problem you certainly don't need a new one - not after just two years. If the house is warm and the water hot then it's mostly working.
