Mend Light Wont Work

cieling light wont work?

have a room with 2 switches and a cieling light.
replaced one switch with a dimmer switch and it has worked well for a couple of years.
at christmas the light was accidentally knocked and wouldnt work.
i have replaced the wire (blue and brown) going to the cieling and checked to see that the switches are all connected and they are.
any clues?????

D.I.Y, LightingLight Wont Work
Without knowing if you have a supply at the lighting position (with fitting removed and an approved electrical tester to prove voltage when the switch is activated and off when the switch is deactivated) its hard to say. A hunch would be a faulty fitting on the basis it got knocked. There may be loose live connections? be aware.
