The drain on fridge combo keeps blocking (freezing up?? ) ?
Hi, the small drain from the fridge, down to the pan on top of the motor? keeps blocking up ( its freezing up at the bottom section) The model is a Fridge/Freezer combo - Hotpoint 8582
Any ideas how to stop this, or reasons why it does it?

This problem happens on all larder(wet wall) fridges and or fridge/freezers.
An algae builds up in drain and blocks the flow of the defrost water from the fridge.
Remove the drain pipe from behind the black grill and wash it through, or with air pressure blow out the blockage.
Somebody on this site suggested a bike pump and blue tac.
