Creda aspire solarplus timer problem?

Inherited a creda aspire solarplus cooker but I can only get the ovens to turn on if I use the buttons to set a "cook time"....this is a nightmare as if you set it for about 2 hrs so you can get everything done the alarm can start at any point in the day/evening! How can I reset it so I just get power to the oven and bypass the timer setting? Thanks

have this same cooker at home and the ovens will only operate if the clock is set otherwise the alarm goes off
set the clock by pressing and holding both oven buttons and then adjust the time using the + - buttons.

I have the same problem, want to reset all the buttons so no symbol is lit and I turn the oven on/off.
