6 CD changer cartridge stuck?

Help!!!The 6 cd changer that came in my 1997 Mountaineer will not eject the cartridge. I've jiggled it, continuously pushed the eject button, but it just makes a noise like it's trying to eject. It also will not play whatever cd's are in there. If I tell it to play it says there is no cd, but yet it won't eject the cartridge. It's been stuck for about a year now. Thanks!
