Mend RCA Player Disc Recognize

Dvd player will not reconize disc?

I have an rca dvd player which trys to load certain dvds, others it won't even try to load, however it will not recognize the disc in tray.

The glass eye that reads the disc is too far away from the disc for the player to read it. Best thing to do is take it to electronics repair shop . Or call around to where it was purchased to see if they do maintenance on your D.V.D. Or if they could reccomend a repair shop
